Chief Minister of Gandaki province Krishna Chandra Pokhrel has tested positive for coronavirus. Pokhrel test came positive late Tuesday.
According to CM secretariat, Pokhrel was suffering from common cold since Sunday and mild fever was seen on Monday. After his swab was collected on Tuesday morning, Pokhrel tested positive for coronavirus later in the day. His health condition are normal according to doctors.
Pokhrel is resting in isolation in his personal quarter. After testing positive himself, Pokhrel urged people to follow covid protocals, use mask and sentizer and maintain social distance as cases have significantly increased in later days.
