Newly appointed Indian ambassador to Nepal Nabin Srivastava has paid courtesy visit to Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand.
Srivastava met with minister Khand at Home ministry on Monday morning. This is the first meeting of Srivastav with Home Minister Khand after he assumed office about a week ago. The two talked about developing healthier and prosperous bilateral relation between two countries.
Khand notified about the fertilizer problem that nepali farmers have been facing and seeked for India’s facilitation to supply fertilizers as per previous agreement. In response, Srivastava said that he would take initiative to solve the issue.
Khand also wished ambassdor Srivastava for a successful tenure. Srivastava has succeeded Vinay Mohan Khwatra as ambassador.
