Indian Oil Corporation(IOC) has sent revised price list of petroleum products with further slashed prices.
As per new price list, petrol is 1.94 rupees cheaper while diesel price is also reduced by Rs 4.84. This is the third time IOC has cut off prices of petroleum products being sent to Nepal. Nepal Oil Corporation, however showing its previous deficit has failed to cut off prices of fuel.
Petrol has become Rs 34.5 cheaper to NOC while importing while no any adjustment is made in price to public consumers. Similarly, diesel has also been Rs 33.85 cheaper after 3 price cuts by IOC. The increased fuel prices have been hitting hard to consumers with consumer goods, price of transportion all going up.
IOC is the sole supplier of petroleum products to Nepal.
