Sajha Yatayat Launches 3 Electric Buses

Sajha Yatayat has launched 3 electric passenger buses to operate inside Kathmandu valley.

Today Bishwabandhu Thapa, founder chairman of Sajha Yatayat inaugurated the service of three electric buses. Two buses will run in Naya Buspark-Balaju-Ratnapark-Baneshwor route while another bus will operate in Lagankhel-Lainchaur-Bansbari to Budhanilkantha route. All buses are provided with female drivers and helpers.

Sajha has spent 0.6 billion rupees to buy 40 electric buses back in 2076 B.S. The first lot of order has arrived after 3 years. Sajha has planned to bring remaining buses in next two phases by Shrawan. These buses are made in China by CHTCO Company. The remaining buses are intended to provide inter provincial transportation for public.

The buses are equipped with wifi communication, tv display and cctv surveillance as well. Similarly bus belongs to semi low floor segment which makes them disabled friendly as well.
