Supreme Court services will be provided full hours on Friday as well.
The apex court has decided to work full-time with the aim of implementing the action plan for the reduction of outstanding cases.
The full court of the Supreme Court on July 6 decided to provide full-time service with effect from August 5, Friday. According to Supreme Court spokesperson Bimal Paudel, there are 4,819 cases pending in court that has exceeded period of five years.
Likewise, there are 17,612 cases pending that have exceeded two years period as of May 13, 2022.
