A corporal of Nepal Army has died after falling of a cliff in Humla.
Tikaram Lamichhane, technician corporal of Nepal Army died while trying to save his fellow partner Hariram Bista. Lamichhane fell off almost 100 metres from the cliff while testing explosion device in Lalibagar of Kharpunath rural municipality. Bista also has suffered head injuries and is getting treatment in Army Hospital, Nepalgunj.
Dead body of Lamichhane and injured Bista were airlifted to Nepalgunj on Thursday in a helicopter. Nepal Army has been deployed to breakthrough steep cliffs using explosives to construct Karnali corridor.
