3 girls have suicided in Jhapa by hanging in a same tree.
Karina (16yo) daughter of Pancham Ganesh, Anjali (17yo) daugher of Puwalu Ganesh and Kalpana(16yo) daughter of Birbal Ganesh from Kachankawal rural municipality of Jhapa are identified as the deceased. They were missing from the home since Saturday afternoon and were found hanging at around 7 am on Sunday morning. Two were found hanging in a same branch while the other one was found hanging in another branch.
All of the deceased were found to be working in tea estate. Death of three young girls have left the entire village in mourning. The cause of suicide isn’t idenified yet. Police informed that further investigation is ongoing about the incident.
