Police has raided yet another call center operated by Chinese national in Kathmandu.
Kathmandu Police has raided three call centers located at Tinkune and Gairigau and arrested more than 20 employees along with a Chinese national. Police are currently at the scene and investigating about the operations of call center. These call centers are assumed to be source of spam call throughout the world.
Yesterday police raided similar call center located at Rupandehi and arrested 7 operators and more than 150 employees. Similarly 122 Chinese were arrested back in Poush 2076 for illegally residing in Nepal and operating call center of fraud nature.
Police informed that officials in civil dress are operated throughout the valley to identify similar call centers.
