Chairperson of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda) has arrived in Tokyo on Saturday morning for a five day visit.
Nepali Ambassador to Japan Durga Bahadur Subedi welcomed Chair Dahal at Narita International Airport. He left Kathmandu for Japan on Friday night to attend an event at the invitation of Nepali People’s Progressive Forum Japan.
Leader Dahal is scheduled to inaugurate the Nepal Festival ceremony to be held in Fukuoka, Japan on Saturday itself.
He will visit Hiroshima on Sunday and later take part in an interaction on ‘Concerns of Migrant Nepalis in the Economic Revolution, the Foundation for a Prosperous Nepal’ organized by the Nepali People’s Progressive Forum Japan in Tokyo on the same day.
Dahal is also scheduled to meet leader of Japan’s ruling Liberal Democratic Party, according to his secretariat.
