The total sum of offerings donated by pilgrims in Gosaikunda during the festival of Janaipurnima is revealed.
According to officials of Gosaikunda Area Development Committee, Rs 322,115 was collected during the festival. All the monetary offerings were taken to Dhunche and counted in the presence of police officials from district police office.
As festivals have completed people have already returned back to their homes. Committee has expected that around 15 thousand pilgrims have visited Gosaikunda area during this year’s Janaipurnima.
