Committee To Be Formed For Parliamentary Investigation On FM Sharma

An agreement is made to form a committee for parliamentary investigation against finance minister Janardan Sharma. Sharma is accused of bringing in unauthorized personnel to alter tax rate while preparing budget.

The agreement is made between oppostion parties including UML and parties in power at a meeting held in Federal Parliament Building, Baneshwor. A 11 membered committtee will be formed for investigation as per the agreement.

The committee will comprise 4 members from major opposition CPN UML and 2 each from Nepali Congress and CPN Maoist. Similarly one member each from CPN Unified Socialist, JaSaPa and LoSaPa will complete the committee.

CPN UML is protesting against actions of minister Sharma and has obstructed Sharma from speaking in HoR meeting today. Various leader within Congress and Maoist are also demanding for resignation of Sharma in moral grounds.
