India Provides Disaster Relief Material To Nepal

Government of India has provided disaster relief material to Nepal today.

Ambassador of India to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava handed over consignments of flood and disaster relief material to Minister for Home Affairs, Bal Krishna Khand in a ceremony held at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Singhdurbar. The relief material includes 3000 tents and ten motor inflatable boats.

After receiving relief material, Minister Khand thanked Indian government for the relief material mentioning that two countries enjoy people to people relation beside government to government relation. Minister Khand said Nepal was always ready to further expand such relations between the two countries. He also appreciated ongoing disaster relief-related cooperation between Nepal and India and hoped for continued support from the Indian government in the future as well.

Likewise, Ambassador Srivastava expressed his belief that this timely supply of relief material is optimally utilized by concerned agencies to ensure its maximum benefit by timely distribution and efficient utilization.
