A mother and her two sons have died after a powerhouse collapses in Jumla.
Powerhouse of Bhitri Khola Hydropower located at Hima Rural Municipality-1 Acharyalihi collapsed at around 2:30 AM in midnight taking life of 3. The deceased are identified as Bimala Rawat(30yo), Bharat Rawat(9yo) and Surya Rawat(8yo). Bimala’s husband Gorak Bahadur Rawat is the security guard of powerhouse.
All of them were sleeping when the powerhouse collapsed. Police team reached the scene at midnight and recovered the bodies. Bodies are being sent to Karnali Academy of Health Science for postmortem.
