Kathmandu metro has bought 3 fire brigades.
Metro mayor Balen Shah informed about the arrival of fire brigades. The procurement process was started under former Mayor Bidhya Sundhar Shakya. 130 million rupees was located for the purchase of 3 fire brigades.
Currently KMC has 4 fire brigades but they are already outdated. Due to this, huge fire have turned disastrous in Kathmandu. The new brigade is expected to be more effective in controlling fire situations in Metro.
