Landslide has buried 12 houses in Shyamchet village of Aarughat rural municipality, Gorkha.
Incessant rain throughout the day has caused landslide at around 6pm on Wednesday. More than 40 houses are in danger due to landslide. People are staying in tent in an open place after getting displaced by landslide. Relief materials including food and more tents are being been taken to displaced families.
One house has flowed with landslide whole more than 10 houses are buried, a local informed. There are no report of human casualties till yet but a number of livestock have been buried by landslide. A local said that the extent of damage isn’t determined yet as people were running for their own lives due to landslide.
