Nepali cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane has bagged deals from two franchises for two upcoming tournaments.
National team skipper, Lamichhane was picked by Dambulla Giants for Lanka Premier League on Tuesday. He will get 40,000 USD for his services at Giants. Lamichhane will be playing aside Srilankan national team captain Dasun Shanaka, Bhanuka Rajapaksha, Ben Cutting, Tim Seifert at Dambulla Giants. The 2022 version of Lanka Premier League will be played from July 31, with the final scheduled for August 21.
Similarly Lamichhane is signed by Caribbean Premeir League side Jamaica Tallawahs as their overseas signing on Wednesday. Sandeep will play alongside Mohammad Amir, Chris Green, Imad Wasim and Migeal Pretorius as other foreign players in Tallawahs. CPL is set to begin from August 30.
