A son in law has severely injured his mother in law and own wife after burning alive.
Shankar Sada of Mahottari poured kerosene over his wife and mother in law Saturday midnight and burnt them. Condition of Reshmadevi Sada(65yo) and Pramila Sada(35yo) is critical due to burn injuries.
They were taken to Provincial Hospital Janakpur for treatment but were referred to Kathmandu today. Reshmadevi has suffered injuries in her back, arms and left leg while Pramila has suffered burn injuries in her chest, both hands and legs.
Police is searching for absconded Shankar Sada. Further investigation is ongoing about the incident, police informed. It is not clear yet why Shankar had set fire upon his wife and mother in law.
