Dhanusa. More than 8.35 million rupees has been confiscated that was being brought to Nepal in guise of potato sack.
Police has arrested Ishwor Mandal, 36yo and Rajesh Mandal,19yo of Janaknandini rm-9, Inaruwa with the money. They were coming to Nepal from India on a motorbike registered under Ja 7 Pa 5007. Police has held the bike as well.
The money was hidden inside of potato sacks with potatoes in it as well. Police informed that further investigation is ongoing about source and purpose of confiscated money.
