Epassport service has resumed in 3 districts of farwest province.
The service was halted in Baitadi, Bajhang and Darchula districtsbdue to server problem since July 1st. Problem in server connection for epassport enrollment and issuing caused service to be halted for one week. The service had begun just about a month ago in Baitadi. Till date, 400 have already taken epassport service.
Government had replaced machine readable passports with epassports since last November. Epassports can be applied, processed and received from concerned districts throughout the nation ending compulsion to go to Kathmandu.
